Health Packages

Health Checkup Instruction Sheet:
 

1. Kindly take prior appointment.
    

2. Please come on empty stomach i.e you need to be on fasting for minimum 10-12 hours. However drink two glasses of plain water before coming for checkup to facilitate an Ultrasound if included in checkup. Please avoid alcohol and any food item with excess fat on the day prior to your checkup.
    

3. Please do not smoke on the day of your checkup until you have completed all the investigations.
    

4. Please bring all your previous medical records and reports, if you have/had any ailments.
    

5. If you are on any medications, kindly consume them as prescribed.
    

6. Please do not wear any valuable jewelry on the day of the checkup.
    

7. Please do not apply any cream, oil, powder on your chest when you come for your checkup.
    

8. Please collect your morning samples of stool or urine in a clean and dry plastic container supplied from UMRI.
    

9. Please wear comfortable shoes/sneakers.
    

10.  Please be prepared to spend 4-5 hours on the day of checkup.
     

11.  There will be a review meeting 2 days later with the Health Check Consultant, when all reports are ready and it will be handed over to you.

 

 

Special Note for diabetics:
 

1. Please inform our receptionist at the time of registration.
    

2. Please do not consume your morning dose of insulin or/and anti-sugar tablets on the day of checkup. Please carry them along with you. You can take them as usual with your breakfast.

 

 

Special Note for Ladies:
 

1.  If you are pregnant or suspecting pregnancy or have any doubts, kindly inform to the receptionist.
    

Ladies are advised not to undertake their health checkup during menstrual cycle.
